Installation | drawings, stones, glass, each 42 x 59,4 x 10 cm, 2017
On a residency in Hydra, Greece, my former professor found a couple of painted stones on the beach. For some reason she thought that I might be interested in them and gave them to me as a gift. The stones were a sort of side product from paintwork on fisher boats. I reproduced these unintended drawings on paper and juxtaposed them with the original in the installation. Different arrangements explore the correlation of arbitrary and deliberate actions as well as reproduction.
